To be the recognized leader and primary resource for medical physics in Canada.
To promote and advance the Canadian medical physics community’s integral role in healthcare by supporting research, education, innovation and excellence in professional practice.
KEY RESULT AREAS:
The effective pursuit of COMP’s mission will be focused on five Key Result Areas (KRA):
KRA #1 – Advocacy and Representation
Through which COMP will conduct research and develop policy positions on meaningful issues and represent medical physicists to a wide range of stakeholder organizations.
KRA #2 - Networking and Member Engagement
Through which COMP will facilitate networking and engagement opportunities by creating an environment that is inclusive and welcoming to all stakeholders in the medical physics community.
KRA #3 - Knowledge Acquisition and Dissemination
Through which COMP will become a central repository of scientific and professional content relevant to the medical physics community, facilitating research and disseminating a wide range of information to professionals, stakeholders, and the general public.
KRA #4 - Strategic Partnerships
Through which COMP will identify and exploit strategic partnering opportunities that leverage its capacity, enhance its impact and raise its profile nationally and internationally.
KRA #5 - Governance and Administration
Through which the policies, programs, activities and resources of COMP will be managed in the most cost-effective and efficient way possible.
