  • The July 2024 issue of InterACTIONS is now available!

  • Do you have any summer or honours project students with projects in medical physics (radiotherapy, imaging, dosimetry, metrology, etc.)? encourage them to submit an abstract for the opportunity to present their work at the third Canadian Undergraduate Medical Physics Conference. CUMPC is a free, virtual conference happening from August 22-23, 2024. Abstract submissions close on July 31st.  For tips on abstract writing, please see the guidelines in the How-to section of the website: CUMPC.ca 

    All undergraduate students with an interest in medical physics are encouraged to register and attend, regardless of whether you have a research project to present.

  • ASTRO has released an updated clinical guideline focusing on radiation therapy for patients with HPV-positive throat cancer. This update to the 2017 guideline covers radiation treatment in both definitive and post-surgical settings, with or without the addition of systemic therapy, aiming to enhance treatment outcomes.
