• The Frontiers Planet Prize is a prestigious award that recognizes and celebrates outstanding breakthroughs in research with the potential to safeguard our planet's ecosystems within the nine planetary boundaries. With a prize worth three million Swiss Francs, this annual award aims to honour those at the forefront of preserving our planet's future.

Nomination Deadline to the NRC: November 1, 2023
Nomination Package: A research article published between November 1, 2021, and October 31, 2023, along with the completed nomination form.

The process requires that National Nominating Bodies (universities or research institutions) submit their nominations to the National Representative Body, which for Canada is the National Research Council. We therefore refer you to the university or research institution for any potential nominee to determine their deadlines but we would note that the deadline for submissions to the NRC is November 1.
