Science Spoken Succinctly Competition
Science Spoken Succinctly (S3) is a Three-Minute thesis style competition where participants prepare a brief presentation to share the significance of their research in a compelling and understandable manner.
S3 is all about communication, conveying your research in an engaging way to individuals outside of the medical physics field! Limited to one slide and only three minutes, this competition is judged by a panel of individuals with expertise in diverse backgrounds.
This competition is open to all non-faculty members of COMP (Post-secondary, MSc.s, PhD.s, post-docs or residents)! Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three competitors each year!
First Place: $250
Second Place: $150
Third Place: $100
The application portal for S3 is now live and can be accessed below. The extended deadline for applications is May 15th at 11:59 pm EST. We look forward to seeing all the creative and compelling three-minute presentations geared towards non-specialist audiences.
