Alberta Health Services is now seeking an analytical, precise, problem solver for the role of Medical Physicist at the new Arthur Child Comprehensive Cancer Center located in Calgary, Alberta. As the Medical Physicist, you will play a key leadership role ensure the provision of high quality, safe, and efficient imaging services. Working closely with clinical practitioners, medical physicists, operational leaders, Radiation Safety Officers, researchers, and academic leads, you will support clinical services, provide quality assurance, perform equipment commissioning, and ensure high standards in the development of new techniques and protocols.
You’ll have the opportunity to work with some of the best and brightest within your field, conduct research, publish papers, and teach and mentor future clinicians in DI and MP excellence. Members with of the Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine (MCCPM) certification can expect a salary ranging from $143,875 – $192,536; Fellows of the Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine certification can anticipate a salary of $166,474 – $222,780.
