2025 COMP Winter School
COMP is thrilled to bring the Winter School back to in-person in 2025!
Join us January 29 – February 1,2025 in Calgary Alberta for dynamic, interactive programming designed to foster interprofessional collaborative relationships and embrace new knowledge, while advancing continuing education and professional development goals.
The theme Embracing change in modernizing education across radiation medicine will provide an opportunity for medical physicists and their radiation therapy, radiation oncology and dosimetry colleagues to consider how emerging technologies and innovations may impact education training programs.
The learning objectives for the school are to:
- Identify and assess modern medical education formalisms applied to radiation oncology disciplines
- Describe the current education state of each discipline
- Evaluate and examine the future of radiation medicine education, including AI and automation’s implications.
The program will maximize interaction between participants, faculty and partners and will include plenary panels, keynote talks and interactive, multidisciplinary workshops.
