Mammography Workshop
April 9, 16, 23 and 30

The 2021 virtual mammography program will provide a minimum of 15 hours of material for mammography physicists and technologists. The workshop will run over four Fridays (April 9, 16, 23 and 30). Speakers include radiologists, physicists and technologists. The workshop will give participants an overview of CARMAP accreditation and image scoring. Risk models and aspects of quality control including that for display monitors will also be discussed. In addition, the workshop will provide content related to different provincial approaches to mammography, artificial intelligence and other recent innovations in mammography. The workshop will also discuss how COVID has affected breast screening and mammography.
