How to Get Involved with COMP and Medical Physics Initiatives
The COMP Student Council is collaborating with the COMP Women's Committee - Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (CWC-IDEA) to host a session titled, “How to Get Involved with COMP and Medical Physics Initiatives”.
This session will feature three segments: opportunities to get involved with the COMP Student Council, an overview of Shattering Glass Ceilings initiatives, and ways to engage with CWC-IDEA. We are delighted to welcome five speakers who will share their insights and experiences:
Jade Fischer (PhD Candidate, University of Victoria) is the current co-chair of the COMP Student Council and has been part of the SC for 3 years.
Cloé Giguère (PhD Candidate, Université Laval) is the current co-chair of the COMP Student Council and has been part of the SC for 3 years.
Dr. Sarah Aubert (Medical Physicist, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre) has served on the CWC for 4 years. She created and co-leads the Interactions article series: Shattering Glass Ceilings - Celebrating Remarkable Physicists.
Alana Lopes (PhD Candidate, University of Western Ontario) has served on CWC-IDEA for 2.5 years. She is currently the co-lead for the Interactions article series: Shattering Glass Ceilings - Celebrating Remarkable Physicists.
Odette Rios-Ibacache (PhD Candidate, McGill University) has served on both the COMP Student Council and CWC-IDEA for 4 months.
