Alberta Expands Access to Radiopharmaceutical Cancer Care

Construction is underway on a new radiopharmaceutical centre and cyclotron in Calgary that will produce radioisotopes for diagnostic imaging and cancer treatment closer to patients in southern Alberta. The facility will help address the challenges of transporting short-lived isotopes from Edmonton and support growing use of theranostics and more targeted cancer treatments.
