Pieces of Interest from COMP for the Week of June 30 – Call for Abstracts: 3rd Canadian Undergraduate Medical Physics Conference (CUMPC)/EGSnrc/Strengthening Canadian physics and medical physics through service and innovative leadership
- The 2025 CUMPC will be held virtually from August 21–22! This free conference offers undergraduate students the chance to present their medical physics research, connect with peers, and compete for presentation prizes. Keynote speakers will share insights into the field and career paths, and attendees can engage directly with current graduate students during a Q&A session.
Encourage your honours or summer research students working in radiotherapy, imaging, dosimetry, or related areas to submit an abstract between July 7–23. All undergrads interested in medical physics are welcome to register and attend, even without a project.
