Congratulations to Dr. Cheryl Duzenli, 2026 COMP Gold Medal Winner!

The Gold Medal is the highest award given by the Canadian Organization of Medical Physicists and is given to currently active or retired individuals to recognize an outstanding career as a medical physicist who has worked primarily in Canada. Throughout a distinguished career spanning more than 30 years, Dr. Duzenli has made exceptional contributions to the medical physics profession through her leadership, research, education, mentorship, and service. Her work has advanced radiation oncology practice in Canada and internationally while helping to shape the next generation of medical physicists.
